The Biblioteca Lincoln (BL) organizes access and lending of information resources through an integrated automated system “Alexandria”. The BL catalog can be accessed via web from mobile devices with iOS or Android; tablets; laptops; and PCs by clicking on the following button:
Alexandria allows users to reserve documents they wish to borrow, and renew loans for themselves online. BL staff provides this training individually at the user’s request; also, there is a printed guide showing users how to train themselves and it can be requested from the service staff. Users can also send a message to circulationblincoln@icda.edu.do
The optimal use of the information resources provided by EBSCO HOST, Elsevier and other digital platforms requires specialized training provided by the technical staff of the BL. Likewise, the providers of these platforms offer free and permanent online training.
