The Teacher Development Center (TDC) of Universidad Domínico Americano along with the Institute for Collaborative Learning (I4CL), in collaboration with the technical team of the MINERD curriculum office, recently completed the training on the use of the English Teacher’s Guide and the English Language Distance Learning Booklets. Both resources are sponsored by the U.S. Embassy in Santo Domingo and developed by the TDC and I4CL teams. On this occasion, the English Language Programs Office of the U.S. Department of State sponsored this series of trainings through the English Specialist program. In total, more than 2,500 English teachers from the 18 regional offices throughout the Dominican Republic took part in this training that contributes to the strengthening of English language teaching in our country.
