UNICDA – What’s new?
In
June of 2002, UNICDA began a new program entitled “Post-Graduate
Studies in the Administration of TESOL Programs”.
It is at present being carried out with some twenty persons
registered in it, most of them English teachers who work
at different public and private educational centers. They
are taking a series of subjects grouped around the following
themes: The contemporary teaching of English, functions
and techniques for giving advice in such programs, curriculum
design, teaching methodology, and other aspects of the administration
of TESOL programs.
EThe
third group of the Special Course in Administration and
the Culinary arts began on June 14th, adding on
students in two other groups. Now, UNICDA has 65 people
studying culinary arts and the administration of posts for
serving food. The special course is taught by master chefs
Petronio Martin Van Der Linde and Jethrie Escala, two world-famous
professionals who are well known in their field.
The
seventh cycle of the Special Course in Administration and
Supervision ended with the end of June. Thirty
persons received their certificates of attendance from Ms.
Soraya Arbaje, the head of the Management Center of UNICDA.
Almost two hundred persons have successfully completed this
prestigious yet popular program, which deals with a wide
spectrum of different problems that come up nowadays in
administration and supervision.
