Bachelor’s
degree in Education, Mention Elementary School
The
Bachelor’s Degree in Education for Elementary School
is a program that is closely linked to the mission of
the ICDA, which says as follows: Teach and foster the
teaching of the two languages, English and Spanish, in
the disciplines that are necessary to respond efficiently
to the educational demand of the country, thus forming
citizens who are capable of attaining development in everything.
The
graduate will master the English tongue both
orally and in writing. He will teach at the different
levels of elementary schools. He will understand teaching
techniques of the elementary school level in English.
He will master the psychological theories that are applied
to elementary education, and he will understand cultural
diversity in the atmosphere of a bilingual school. He
will work with all that makes up the curriculum of the
elementary bilingual school, and he will understand computers
as applied to education.
Graduates
of this program will be able to work as teachers
in private and public bilingual schools; in agencies for
academic counseling; institutes for the teaching of English
as a foreign language; universities that offer careers
in
English; children’s television programs’ Personnel
of the Secretaría de Estado de Educación;
English teacher or tutor for private students of a grade
school level.
