We care about your children’s integrated development…
I am very glad that I have belonged to the teaching staff
of the Pre-Escolar Domínico-Americano since 1989.
Working at the pre-Escolar offers me the opportunity to
grow together with children and colleagues. As a pre-school
educator, I realize the importance of an overall, integrated
development in students. Through both work experience and
study, I have become more and more convinced that the work
and play activities that are suited to the age and development
of our children are the best method for initial education.
Children learn and enjoy an atmosphere that stimulates play
and exploration in them. The school atmosphere must provide
concrete and interactive experiences that are appropriate
to the characteristics of their age, thus obtaining meaningful
learning. Play is a powerful tool that stimulates intellectual,
socio-emotional, and motor development in children.

academic competence and experience in the area. Our teaching
personnel includes a program coordinator with a master’s
degree in education, an administrative secretary, and teachers
with bachelor’s and post-graduate degrees in education.
Besides, in each level there is a teacher’s aide who
is an education student. This person helps the teacher during
the activities. We have a population ratio of 8 children
