Elizabeth
de Windt has been Executive Director of the Instituto
Cultural Domínico-Americano since 1991, and Chancellor of UNICDA
since March of 2001. Licda. de Windt is a graduate of UNPHU (Universidad
Nacional Pedro Henríquez Ureña), where she studied psychology.
She has vast academic experience at several levels: elementary school,
secondary school, and university. She was Director of the Elementary School,
English teacher, and psychologist at the Colegio Loyola (1972-1985). She
was later Dean of the Faculty of Education and the Humanities, as well
as Director and Professor of the Department of Psychology and Orientation
at the Universidad Nacional Pedro Henríquez Ureña (1975-1989).
She worked as Coordinator and Professor of Psychology and Advisor to the
University, at the Universidad de la Tercera Edad (1989-1992), and Administrative
Director of the Center for Business Development (1985-1991). She has a
certification from the University of Michigan, English Language Institute
with mastery of the English tongue; she also has a certification from
the University of British Columbia in Research Methods in Education. She
has done postgraduate studies in both psychology and education.

She
has received several plaques and other acknowledgments. Among the most
relevant are the following:

ten years of prolific and excellent work as Executive Director (1991-2001)
