Objetives:

 

  • Apply the sociological, psychological and methodological principles that facilitate the interpretation and analysis of the elements that make up the tourism and hospitality industry.
  • Manage information, interpret situations and develop the ability to develop plans for the tourism and hospitality industry, both nationally and internationally
  • Gain knowledge of the structure of hotel management systems, as well as the laws governing the operations of these sectors in the economy


Graduate Profile:

These are additional characteristics that graduates with Bachelor’s Degrees in Tourism and Hotel Management must have and demonstrate:

  • Ability to perform social research and utilize processing techniques for electronic data.
  • Ability to analyze and evaluate administrative and operational functions of businesses in the tourism and hospitality industry.
  • Ability to propose and implement policies, systems, principles and methods for tourism and hotel development, according to market needs.
  • Ability to adequately manage interpersonal and group relations in the workplace. 
  • Ability to find solutions to specific problems in the administrative area that are in line with the legal norms governing the operations of hotel and tourism enterprises.
  • Ability to identify and analyze the various factors that influence the selection criteria of applicants in the tourism and hospitality sector.
