Domínico Americano School 

We offer the levels of primary and secondary education in English, we are accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and School (SACS) of the United States and the Education ministry (MEE) of the Dominican Republic, teaches Spanish as their mother tongue; History also Dominican, Moral and Civic.

Counselors- School Psychologist (1st – 5th)

(Head of Department) Mary Monsanto, MA

Mary Monsanto was born in the Dominican Republic. She got her bachelor degree in Psychology at the Universidad de la Tercera Edad (UTE), a Master Degree in Clinical Psychology at the Universidad Autónoma de Santo Domingo (UASD) and  a Specialty in Learning Disabilities at the Universidad Tecnológica de Santo Recinto Santo Domingo (UTESA).   She joined the Colegio Domínico Americano in 2011, as the Elementary School Psychologist, providing support to the literacy learning and behavior.

Counselors- School Guidance Counselor (6th –12th)
Ada Nuñez, MAED

Ada Núñez was born in New York, USA. She obtained her Bachelor’s in Psychology from the Universidad Pedro Henríquez Ureña and her Master’s in Education from the Universidad Autónoma de Santo Domingo. She was a middle school teacher for several years and currently holds the position of Middle School and High School Psychologist at the Colegio Domínico-Americano.
